1768. Bound in circa 19th century half calf with spine gilt panels and with 4 raised bands; marbled boards and edges. Includes Thomson's famous "The Seasons" which influenced many later romantic poets. Also includes "Liberty", "The Castle of Indolence", "Poems on Several occasions" and a life of the author by Patrick Murdoch.

Good Condition. Half bound in circa 19th century calf. Binding is firm. Pages are lightly tanned. Previous owner inscriptions to front end papers. Boards have moderate edge-wear with some notable rubbing to edges and bumping to corners causing leather to lightly peel. Spine's front board joint is lightly cracked. Half of the lettering plate to spine is absent.
