De Amicis' celebrated travel narrative on Morocco, based on his 1875 journey as part of an Italian diplomatic mission. The work offers one of the earliest Italian portraits of Morocco in the 19th century. Text is in Italian.

Good Condition. Half bound in brown calf with cloth covered boards. Binding is firm. Pages are clean. Stamp to half-title. Boards have moderate edge-wear with visible peeling to leather spine and scuffing. Marking to boards.
