Early continental edition of Ravensnest published in Paris in 1846, same year as the first edition. One of Fenimore's later novels engages with themes of American frontier life, class and cultural conflict. 

Good Condition. Half Vellum binding with marble paper covered boards. Half-title page is trimmed to the top. Stamps to pastedowns and title page. Binding is firm. Pages are lightly tanned and foxed. Boards have light edge-wear with some bumping to cornerd and spine ends. Slight darkening to edges. Lettering to spine has faded.
