Brigadier-General Frank Percy Crozier served in the Boer War, The Great War & The Irish War of Independence. After becoming disillusioned by the conduct of the British Army and the Black and Tans. He resigned from the army and become a pacifist. In his book he strongly criticises higher command and exposes the futility of war. A really good rear that went through man reissues, this being the first printing in its rare original jacket.

Good/Fair Condition. Pictorial jacket over brown cloth with red titles. Binding is firm and pages are clean. Light foxing to fore-edge. Previous owner inscription to front end paper. Boards are clean with minimal wear. Jacket is worn with some notable creasing and tear to edges. Light hole to spine edge. Jacket has some repairs to interior of jacket. Marking to edges of jacket.
