The Strand Magazine Vols 15, 16 & 17 [Arthur Conan Doyle, Round The Fire Stories]

Presented in these 3 volumes of The Strand Magazine are the first appearance of Arthur Conan Doyle's Round the Fire Stories. The centre around the idea of the tration of telling eerie, suspenseful tales around a fire filled with mystery and suspense. Volume 15 Contains the first story, Volume 16 six more stories and Volume 17 a further five stories. Some of the stories are illustrated by Sidney Paget. 

Good Condition. Blue pictorial cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Bindings are firm and pages are clean with occasional foxing and tanning to pages. Very Minor spliting to volume 16's front hinge. Boards have moderate edge-wear with some fraying to spine ends and bumping to corners. Small split to volume 15's spine head. Notable stain to volume 16's front board.
